Terms and Conditions

Effective date: October 12, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Planet X LLC, an Indiana company doing business as Planet X Performance ("we" or "us"). By using this site or placing an order, you agree to them. You must be 18 or older to place an order.

Orders

Your order confirmation email means we received your order. It doesn't mean we've accepted it. We accept your order when it ships or is placed with our partner warehouse.

We may refuse or cancel any order, even after you've been charged, including when:

• an order doesn't pass our fraud screening, or we can't verify it
• a price, description, or photo on the site was wrong because of an error or typo
• an item is out of stock or no longer available

If we cancel your order, we'll let you know and refund you in full.

Amazon purchases

Some products on our site have a "Buy on Amazon" button. Those items are sold on Amazon by Amazon or by third-party Amazon sellers, not by Planet X Performance. Your purchase, payment, shipping, and returns are handled through Amazon and follow Amazon's return policy, so start any return from your Amazon order page. Prices shown on our site for these items may differ from Amazon's current price. Amazon's price at checkout applies. The same goes for Trinity products you buy from us on Amazon.

As an Amazon Associate, Planet X Performance earns from qualifying purchases.

Prices and payment

• All prices are in US dollars.
• Sales tax is added at checkout where the law requires it.
• Shipping options and costs are calculated with live carrier rates and shown at checkout before you pay.
• We accept credit and debit cards through our payment processor. We don't store your full card number.
• Prices can change at any time, but changes won't affect an order we've already accepted.

Shipping and signatures

We ship within the United States only. Orders with a product subtotal over $100 (before shipping and tax) require a signature on delivery, and anyone at the address can sign. Orders shipped directly from our distributor partners may not offer signature service. See our Shipping Policy for details.

Chargebacks

If there's a problem with your order, please contact us before you contact your bank. We'll work with you to make it right.

If a chargeback is filed, we'll respond with our order records, tracking, and proof of delivery. We dispute chargebacks we believe are fraudulent or unfounded. We may refuse future orders from anyone who files one.

Product information

We work hard to keep product details, fitment, photos, and prices accurate. Some details for other brands' parts come from their manufacturers. Colors and finishes may look a little different on your screen. If we find an error, we'll contact you before your order ships.

Using the parts

• Parts are intended to be installed and used as the manufacturer's instructions describe.
• We recommend professional installation.
• Check fitment before you install. Once a part is installed, it can't be returned as unused.
• We don't sell emissions-related products. You're responsible for making sure your vehicle follows the laws where you drive it.

Warranties

Planet X Originals come with the 90-day warranty described on our Warranty and Fitment page. Parts from other brands are covered by their manufacturer's warranty. Apart from those, and to the extent the law allows, we don't make any other promises about the products we sell.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

• We aren't responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential costs, such as labor, towing, rental cars, lost time, or damage to other parts.
• Our total responsibility for any claim about a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.

Some states don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to protect Planet X LLC from claims, costs, and damages (including reasonable legal fees) that come from your misuse or improper installation of a product, your breaking these terms, or your breaking the law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. Any legal dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Hamilton County, Indiana.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. The terms in place when you placed your order apply to that order.
