The TSP JM7009R is a compact, Nippondenso-style mini starter for LS-based V8s. A 1.9 HP motor drives a 4.0:1 gear reduction, and TSP rates it for engines up to about 12.0:1 compression. The small housing frees up room around headers, oil pans and steering parts in LS swaps, and the adjustable billet aluminum mounting block helps you position it. Finished in red.

Mounting hardware not included.
Recommended: Install with new mounting bolts. We suggest the ICT Billet LS starter bolt kit (551681) or the ARP stainless LS starter bolt kit (430-3511).
Broken starter ear? If the outboard starter mounting ear on your LS block is cracked or broken, the Trinity Starter Bracket can repair it without machining. The block’s inboard starter bolt hole must still be intact. The Trinity can’t fix a block where the whole starter ear is missing.
