The ProForm 67054 is a high-torque, gear-reduction starter built from all-new components, not a rebuilt core. Its 4.41:1 reduction is rated for engines up to 14:1 compression, so it suits big-cube or high-compression LS builds as well as stock engines that need stronger cranking. An offset design adds oil pan clearance.

Check before you buy
- Tooth count: Neither Amazon nor ProForm states this starter’s flywheel tooth count. Confirm it matches your flywheel or flexplate before ordering
- Engine: ProForm lists LS1, LS2, LS6 & LS7. Check fit with the seller for other LS engines
- Clearance: Check room around your headers and oil pan before ordering
Mounting hardware included.
Recommended: For replacement mounting bolts, we suggest the ICT Billet LS starter bolt kit (551681) or the ARP stainless LS starter bolt kit (430-3511).
Broken starter ear? If the outboard starter mounting ear on your LS block is cracked or broken, the Trinity Starter Bracket can repair it without machining. The block’s inboard starter bolt hole must still be intact. The Trinity can’t fix a block where the whole starter ear is missing.
